Fermoyle Beach lies at the western end of Brandon Bay, near Cloghane, with Mount Brandon behind the strand. There is a small, free car park at the beach entrance; the approach includes a narrow bridge. Check local tide times before setting out, as high tide can cover the beach and cut off a return along the sand. The local Fermoyle Beach Walk starts at the car park and heads west around Ceann Duimhche, returning by the back beach and road.
