Beaches on our doorstep

Our homes sit along the north side of the Dingle Peninsula, where the beaches run for miles and are often close to empty. Most of them are a five to fifteen minute drive from wherever you stay.

Swimming, surfing and safety

Brandon Bay and Fermoyle Strand are the surf beaches — long Atlantic swell, and the reason kitesurfers and windsurfers keep coming back to Castlegregory. The Maharees beaches are more sheltered, which makes them the easier choice with children. Inch is the big one, a sandspit you can drive onto.

None of the beaches here are lifeguarded outside the summer season, and the Atlantic has rips. Swim where other people are swimming, and ask us — we live here and we will tell you honestly where is safe on the day.
