Discover the surviving towers of Listowel Castle beside the town square, with the River Feale and town centre nearby.

Listowel Castle stands beside the Square overlooking the River Feale. Two of its original four towers survive, joined by a high wall and an arch. It is a useful stop while exploring the town on foot, especially when combined with the square and surrounding streets. Interior visits depend on seasonal opening arrangements, so confirm access before planning a tour. Upper floors are reached by steep winding stairs; viewing the outside is a different visit from exploring the interior.
