Woodside House sits between Dingle and Tralee with the Atlantic to the north and mountain ridges to the south, a comfortable four-bedroom family base a few minutes from Glanteenassig Forest, where river walks, quiet lakes and waterfalls hide among some of Ireland's best-preserved woodland.

A quiet sandy beach is walkable from the house, CK's diner is a short stroll for fresh fish and pizza, and Murphy's bar on Brandon pier serves monkfish landed by the owner's father. Castlegregory village (supermarket, wood-fired pizza, cold beer) is just up the road.

We loved the place and the area. The only negative thing was on the sat morning at 9.30am a man with a strimmer outside our window. And the guy on the mobile lawnmower was the most ignorant intimidating rude man I've ever come across. Was some local contracted hired to cut the grass. I was shaking in anger after an interaction with him. So aggressive.
