Ballybunion is North Kerry’s classic seaside town: two Blue Flag beaches divided by a headland crowned with the ruin of a 16th-century castle. The Ladies Beach and Men’s Beach fill with families, swimmers and surfers all summer, the cliff walk gives huge views over the Atlantic, and the town is famous for its traditional hot seaweed baths and the world-ranked Ballybunion Golf Club links.
