Slate Cottage - Cottage in Camp, Co. Kerry

A restored two-bedroom, two-bathroom stone cottage in Camp, a hidden gem on the Wild Atlantic Way. Bright contemporary interiors inside traditional walls, and the Dingle Way passing the door.

Slate Cottage in Camp is built upside down, and it works beautifully: two en-suite bedrooms downstairs for quiet nights, and an open-plan kitchen and living space upstairs where the windows frame the Atlantic and the rolling Kerry countryside.

The cottage is fully wheelchair accessible and freshly restored, with a garden where you can watch the West Kerry Trekking horses graze in the next field. The village café, shop and pub are close by; Castlegregory is under ten minutes away; beaches and the Dingle Way are on the doorstep.

Lovely clean house in a very peaceful location with great views. The house was full of character with an upside down layout, cute shutters and great views. I really appreciated that it was spotless and communication was very good too.

If you are looking to stay on the Dingle Peninsula, this is the place to book. An easy 30 minutes drive to Dingle, very peaceful and easy to get to. The place is just as described, everything is new and cozy. As one other review mentioned, the ceilings at the exit are quite low but that's to be expected in a cottage. Another review mentioned lots of bugs, we didn't see anything besides 2 or 3 spid

Amazing view and has good potential but it felt inexperienced. We were not fully aware of what location entailed. Extremely steep and narrow. We couldnt park car in driveway bc it wasnt made for big cars, it physically could not get up the steep rocks. Also would have liked to know it wasnt tall people friendly. Smacked my head going in and on the way out hit it so hard that we left much later tha
