A restored two-bedroom, two-bathroom stone cottage in Camp, a hidden gem on the Wild Atlantic Way. Bright contemporary interiors inside traditional walls, and the Dingle Way passing the door.

Slate Cottage is a self catering holiday home in Camp, Co. Kerry, a restored stone cottage in the village at the Tralee end of the Dingle Peninsula. It is built upside down: the two bedrooms are downstairs and the living space is upstairs, where the windows look out over the Atlantic and the fields behind.

Both bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom, and the cottage sleeps five across three beds. A travel cot and a high chair are available, and bed linen and towels are provided. Dogs are welcome, up to two, with a pet fee of 100 euro per stay.

Upstairs is one open-plan room with the kitchen, a dining table and the sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer. Fast Wi-Fi throughout.

Outside there is a private garden and free parking at the cottage. The next field belongs to West Kerry Trekking, and their horses are often grazing by the fence.

Check-in is from 4pm with a lockbox at the door and check-out by 10am. Walkers on the Dingle Way stay here for a night or two; families take it for the week. Choose your dates and the number of guests to see availability and the full booking total.

We stayed at Slate Cottage for 2 nights while we toured Southwestern Ireland and it was lovely. Very welcoming & beautiful space. Super clean & gorgeous views. We loved the private ensuite bathrooms & comfortable space.

If you are looking to stay on the Dingle Peninsula, this is the place to book. An easy 30 minutes drive to Dingle, very peaceful and easy to get to. The place is just as described, everything is new and cozy. As one other review mentioned, the ceilings at the exit are quite low but that's to be expected in a cottage. Another review mentioned lots of bugs, we didn't see anything besides 2 or 3…

Very nice cottage, located about 20 minutes from the beach. The interior is very modern, which clashes a bit with the stone exterior. But it is very comfortable.

We were able to enjoy a week's stay in this cottage. The view of the countryside and the Atlantic made it all complete. Everything was clean, well-maintained and well thought out.
