At 952m, Mount Brandon (Cnoc Bréanainn) is Ireland’s second-highest peak and one of its most rewarding climbs. The classic route follows the ancient Saint’s Road pilgrim path from Ballybrack up the western flank, marked by white crosses, to a summit crowned with the ruins of an oratory. On a clear day the views stretch across the whole Dingle Peninsula and out to the Blasket Islands.
