Loch Cruite Cottage - Cottage in Cloghane, Co. Kerry

A 240-year-old farmhouse on a working sheep farm at the base of Mount Brandon, with Brandon Bay in the distance. Turf stove, original stone character and Fermoyle Beach a short drive away.

Loch Cruite Cottage is a 240-year-old farmhouse at the base of Mount Brandon, set on a working family sheep farm with Brandon Bay in the distance. Thick stone walls, an open-plan kitchen and a turf and wood-burning stove keep the original character intact.

Two double rooms and a twin sleep six. Cloghane village is 2.5km away for O'Connor's bar and the community shop, mountain trails start close to the door, and Fermoyle Beach (one of Ireland's longest strands) is a short drive. A real slice of farm life on the Wild Atlantic Way.

What guests say

We had a lovely stay at Lock Cruite, the cottage is really cute and the fact that it’s near a farm makes it even more friendly. My daughter was able to play with the shepherd’s dog. The Conor pass is just 10 min away. We were able to visit Dingle, Brandon Pier and the Slea Drive. I would really recommend this place

We had a great time in the cottage. A super location for hiking and water activities in Castlegregory. We also enjoyed the feel of the old farm house, chatting to the farmer and the sheep dog.
