An Teach Beag ('the small house' in Irish) is a beautifully renovated traditional cottage at the entrance to Cloghane, tucked into the edge of Mount Brandon and overlooking the Conor Pass. Steep ridges, waterfalls and bog lakes surround the village, and the local wagtails lead the morning chorus outside your window.

Inside there is room for four, plus a games room and a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi, as good for a week of remote work as for a family break. The community shop, bakery and O'Connor's bar are a short walk away; Castlegregory's surf schools, horse riding on Brandon Bay and boat trips to the cliffs of Sauce Creek are a short drive.

The holiday home is in a very quiet and beautiful location. The view of the mountains was fantastic. You can start hiking straight from the house. We highly recommend the hike up Mount Brandon. From up there you have a fantastic view. The place is very cozy and modernly furnished. The beds were great. The bathroom is very spacious. We highly recommend the house.
