Brandon Bay View - Cottage in Cloghane, Co. Kerry

High on a hillside at the foot of Mount Brandon, with Cloghane Bay to the east and the open Atlantic to the north. Some of the finest views in West Kerry, and Cloghane village five minutes down the road.

Brandon Bay View is a self catering holiday home in Cloghane, a cottage high on the hillside at the foot of Mount Brandon with views in every direction: Cloghane Bay to the east, the mountain to the west and south, and the open Atlantic to the north. The cottage is one of two houses on the site; its own entrance is on the right hand side, not at the front, as the photos show.

Three bedrooms sleep six: a double, a twin and a king room, with two bathrooms. A travel cot and a high chair are available, and bed linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and there is a washer and dryer in the house. Fast Wi-Fi throughout. Outside there is a garden with the view and free parking. Dogs are welcome, up to two, with a pet fee of 100 euro per dog.

Cloghane village is about five minutes down the road: O'Connor's Bar, the community shop, the fairy trail and the church built in 1828. Brandon Bay and the playground are seven minutes by car, Tralee about forty five minutes, and Dingle town lies over the Conor Pass. The Faha route up Mount Brandon starts above the village.

Check-in is from 4pm with a lockbox at the door and check-out by 10am. Minimum stay three nights. Choose your dates and the number of guests to see availability and the full booking total.

Zaiha specially provided two adapters for our electrical plugs. Thank you! You and Melody can always be reached. You rent the right part of the house, northeast, contrary to some pictures on the listing. The owner, Chris, lives temporarily with his family on the left. He is very friendly. The wifi is great, and the double bed and queen-size bed have comfortable mattresses and enough pillows…

If you want a serene peaceful space with view out every window, this place is for you!! It was a great spot to stay outside of Dingle. Great hiking and nature gazing.

A really lovely place to stay but quite a distance from Dingle especially with the roads. House was spotless but a little deceiving from the pictures as we believed that we had the full house as per pictures but it was a second house attached. If booking definitely bring a can of WD40 for the bed downstairs 😀iv never heard anything so noisy!!!

The entire stay was delightful, even with the often rainy weather. I had friends from France visiting me; they could not get over the beauty of Cloghane and Ireland in general. The house was a perfect and beautiful base for our daily excursions. Zhaia, was in contact with us throughout our visit making sure everything was well.
