Lough Gill Lake House - which sleeps 7 guests - is perched on the edge of Lough Gill, a natural lagoon, which bustles with wildlife from the most endangered native amphibian species, the Natterjack Toad, to a resident family of graceful swans.

This beautiful property is just a short walk from the lively village of Castlegregory.

The cottage was recently renovated and offers a mix of warm modern living coupled with old world charm.

Fish species in Lough Gill include three-spined stickleback, sand goby, brown trout, flounder and the critically endangered European eel. The lake is part of the Tralee Bay and Magharees Peninsula, West to Cloghane.
The house is also in walking distance to sandy beaches, restaurants and local amenities i.e., golf, water sports, hiking, fishing, and horse riding.

Just north of Lough Gill is a continuous 12-14 kilometre stretch of strand which includes the beaches of Stradbally, Gowlane and Kilcummin in Brandon Bay, often cited as Ireland's longest sandy beach. It is the perfect place where you can simply sit back, unwind, relax and enjoy all Castlegregory and surrounding areas have to offer.
