Some of Ireland’s most famous plays, including the Field and Big Maggie, were written on the bar counter by John B Keane. The tradition of storytelling, music and culture is now carried on by his son Billy Keane, who runs the bar and is never short of a tale or two!

The house is a short drive from an array of world class golf courses including Ballybunion, ranked in the top ten in the world and a firm favourite of Bill Clinton.
